Flights were delayed due to a power failure at Liverpool John Lennon Airport.
Departure and arrivals were impacted by the outage on Monday morning, which affected the air traffic control operations at the Speke terminal.
Some flight arrivals had to be diverted to neighbouring Manchester Airport during the issue, with passengers rerouted back to Liverpool via coaches.
The airport confirmed on social media that the issue has since been resolved.
“Our engineers have resolved the earlier Air Traffic Control power issue, and aircraft operations have now resumed,” read a statement.
“There may be delays to your flight, please consult your airline for any further updates.
“We apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
