Five men charged over County Lines operation

Five men have been charged with drug offences following warrants and arrests as part of an investigation into County Lines drug supply.

Under Operation Modular, the raids were a joint investigation between Project Medusa Merseyside County Lines team and Devon and Cornwall Police to tackle County Lines drug dealing and child criminal exploitation.

Following a search of properties, officers recovered suspected controlled Class A drugs and cash.

Three men from Merseyside and two men from Cornwall were arrested and have now been charged with drug offences. They are:

• Shaun Antony Quinn, 37 years, of Greenhill Road, Allerton has been charged with concerned in the supply of controlled drugs (Class A) and possession with intent to supply of Class A (cocaine)

• Daniel Bridson, 46 years, Round Hey, Stockbridge Village has been charged with concerned in the supply of controlled drugs(Class A) and possession with intent to supply of Class A (heroin)

• Daniel Stanton, 34 years, of Finch Meadow Close, Fazakerley has been charged with concerned in the supply of controlled drugs (Class A)

• Simon John Mitchell, 34 years, of Lower Fore Street, Saltash, Cornwall has been charged with concerned in the supply of controlled drugs (Class A)

• John Arnaud, 52 years, of Wentworth Way, Saltash, Cornwall has been charged with concerned in the supply of controlled drugs (Class A).

The suspects appeared at Bodmin Magistrates Court on Friday 8 July and were remanded into custody. The next court hearing is at Truro Crown Court on Tuesday 1 August.
