Albert’s Schloss has been a real hit on the Liverpool scene since it’s opening in December 2022. Serving up food, sips and showtime 7 days a week – it is now serving breakfast from 9am all week long.
Scousers love a good brekkie and Albert’s Schloss are serving up some of the best. The “Kroissant Royale” (£9.00) is front and centre of their menu and for good reason. Huge, buttery, crispsy croissant filled with your choice of Smoked Back Bacon, Bratwurst or Moving Mountains Vegan Sausage. I opted for the Bacon and it also came topped with a perfectly fried Burford Brown Egg, sweet slow cooked onions and a side of Curry Ketchup. It was something new but delicious and I could have easily eaten it three times over. Every bakery item, including their Haus Croissant are all baked in house, making it even more impressive.
We also tried out the Cook Haus Breakfast (£9.50) which includes Bratwurst, smoked back bacon, Burford brown egg, roasted portobello mushroom, baked beans, hash brown, roast tomato and Pain de Mie toast. Each item was absolutely delicious, cooked to perfection and the portions plentiful. A special shout out if you have any dietary requirements – the team are super attentive and ensure your requirements are met. Unfortunately due to the in house bakery, gluten free toast is not possible however the team are happy to swap for another item of your choice.
There are tonnes of other options which we will definitely be back to try including Turkish Eggs and Salmon Royale. Each day there is a huge selection of pastries baked “in haus” we were lucky enough to try out the Chocolate and Caramel Pastry and the Berry filled Bun which was laced with delicious icing and berries – I could not get enough of them! It was like having a pudding with your breakfast, and who would not love that?!
In true Albert’s Schloss style – it’s never too early to get the party started and the breakfast menu has a number of “Liveners” to chose from including Bloody Marys, Esppresso Martinis, Screwdrivers and a bottle of prosecco for the bargain price of £25.00.
Albert’s Schloss is always packed to the rafters and for good reason – this place has it all, fun, frolics and fantastic food any time of the day.
