Details of Liverpool’s FA Youth Cup final have been confirmed.
Marc Bridge-Wilkinson’s side will be aiming to win the competition for a second time in three seasons when they face Aston Villa on Monday, May 24.
The Villa Park encounter is expected to be played in front of supporters with the Reds’ under-18s also appearing on a live broadcast through BT Sport.
Liverpool reached the final courtesy of a 2-1 win over Ipswich Town with goals from Mateusz Musialowski and Melkamu Fraudenorf tipping the balance.
The Anfield club have won the Youth Cup four times previously with the first arriving in 1996 with a team featuring Jamie Carragher and Michael Owen.
Five members of the 2019 team which beat Manchester City have made first-team appearances this season including Rhys Williams and Leighton Clarkson.
