Everton fans returning to Goodison Park will need to undergo a Covid-19 test.
A limited number of 2,000 supporters are set to attend the Blues’ home game with Chelsea next weekend following Liverpool’s move into a Tier 2 lockdown.
It has been confirmed that a minimum of 91% of the club’s overall allocation for next Saturday’s match will be made available for season ticket holders.
Hospitality members and players’ families account for the remaining nine per cent – around 180 tickets – allowed to see Carlo Ancelotti’s side in action.
In line with the UK’s new coronavirus tiered system, only season ticket and hospitality members living in the Liverpool City Region can enter the ballot.
Separately, anyone who is successful in the ballot must provide confirmation of a negative Covid-19 test either on the day of the game or the day prior.
A socially distanced seating plan has been devised which incorporates the Gwladys Street Stand, the Top Balcony and designated areas for disabled fans.
The Chelsea runs from 5pm on December 2 until midnight on Friday (Dec 4) with fans receiving email notification of the outcome at 5pm the following Monday.
Anyone permitted to attend will also need to bring photo ID to Goodison when attending the match to ensure tickets are used by the correct person.
