Jurgen Klopp has won the Premier League’s Manager of the Month for December.
Klopp’s Liverpool side racked up a perfect month at the end of the previous decade with five top-flight wins to solidify a 13-point lead at the summit.
The German earned his fourth personal accolade of the season to take his overall tally to seven, placing him level with Manchester City’s Pep Guardiola.
Former Reds boss Rafael Benitez also racked up the same figure but was awarded his most recent two with Chelsea and Newcastle respectively.
Should Klopp be awarded the Manager of the Month a further three times before the end of this season, he will go joint-third in the all-time rankings.
David Moyes currently occupies the spot with 10 with only Arsene Wenger (15) and Sir Alex Ferguson (27) only ahead of him in the standings.
