Liverpool have released Connor Randall after 17 years at the club.
Kirkby-born Randall joined the Reds’ academy ranks at the age of six and previously captained the under-18 side during his rise through the ranks.
Jurgen Klopp handed the right-back his senior bow just weeks into his Anfield tenure in a League Cup fourth round win over Bournemouth in October 2015.
The Liverpool manager utilised Randall a further six times during that campaign in the FA Cup and Premier League with all bar one as a starting berth.
His final appearance came in an FA Cup fourth round loss to Wolves in January 2017.
Randall spent the previous campaign on a season-long loan with Hearts before a sixth-month spell earlier this season at League One outfit Rochdale.
He will be available on a free transfer this summer and is set to assess his options with several Football League and Scottish Premiership sides interested.
The 23-year-old is among a host of Academy players that are set to leave Liverpool this summer as part of a shake-up of the club’s under-23 setup.
Winger Bobby Adekanye has agreed to join Lazio while defenders Juanma and Corey Whelan plus striker Glen McAuley will also pursue their careers elsewhere.
