In the wake of the upcoming transfer window European clubs are already making a move for their potential targets to sign to their respective clubs this winter. With Real Madrid already said to have agreed on landing a young Brazilian to the club.
English giants Liverpool are said to rekindle their interests in Nabil Fekir, who reports formerly claimed to have agreed terms with last summer, in hopes to officially secure his services this January.
Now according to some reports, the World Cup winner is reported to be meeting up with Olympique Lyonnais chairman Jean-Michel Aulas in the coming weeks to talk over his future with the French club with Fekir not willing to spend the rest of his career with the club, opening the door not just to Liverpool but to other European clubs keen on signing the midfielder, but the Reds are leading the race to the star.
The World Cup star’s is currently with a contract with an expiration year in 2020 and could be renewed before the summer having known Aulas to be a sweet-mouth negotiator or could increase hugely their asking price for the midfielder, if he desperately wants to leave the club during the winter transfer window.
It has also been reported that the Lyon chairman is luring the French midfielder to sign a new contract and he will be able to hand him his move to wherever he wants. But Aulas only wants the star to sign a new contract so a huge asking price could be slapped on the midfielder, who is currently being valued at £58.5 million.
The Lyon chairman wants the midfielder’s future to be sorted before or by the end of the month but if Fekir’s market value continues to go down, Liverpool will be getting the better end of the deal which will allow the Reds to sign the midfielder for a reduced fee in the January winter transfer window.
Liverpool will be returned to premier League action as they defeats Bournemouth in a 0-4 win with Genting online betting offering the best odds for European leagues.
The 25-year-old midfielder was a top priority signing for Jurgen Klopp last summer having allowed Philippe coutinho to have his dream move to the Barcelona early this year in January, in whose space Nabil Fekir was to fill last summer.
However, both club and personal terms were said to have been agreed with a £53m deal said to have been on the cards, but Red manager Klopp had the deal called off having doubts on how the player’s fitness will be with his club. The World Cup star has several injuries on his right knee and Klopp was not willing to take the chances of signing the midfielder.
The Red’s manager seems to have had a change of heart for Nabil Fekir and is now willing to see the star in a Liverpool shirt this January.
