World Cup winger open to Everton move in January

Andrija Zivkovic is reportedly open to joining Everton in the January window.

Marco Silva has been tracking the Benfica winger despite making just six appearances in all competitions for the Blues manager’s former club this season.

The Portuguese giants are said to have earmarked Zivkovic as one of the player to offload in the upcoming transfer window in efforts to free up funds.

Reports in Silva’s homeland now claim that the Serbia international would entertain a potential move to Goodison Park in the coming months.

According to A Bola, Zivkovic is keen on linking up with Everton and could do so either on a permanent transfer or an initial loan with an option to buy.

Before moving to the Stadium of Light, the 22-year-old won the Under-20 World Cup in 2015 and was a part of Benfica’s double-winning side in 2016/17.

Zivkovic also featured in his homeland’s unsuccessful World Cup campaign, where they finished third in Group E behind Brazil and Switzerland.
