Everton announce 2019/20 ticket price freeze

Everton have frozen prices on season tickets for a fourth consecutive year.

Renewals for the forthcoming 2019/20 season will remain capped while Blues fans will also pay 12 per cent less for than it cost in the 2013/14 campaign.

Supporters under the age of 11 will only pay £95 for all 19 of the club’s Premier League home game, equivalent to £5 per match.

Fans in the 18 to 21 age group and those 65 or over will only pay £299, equating to £16 a game while the most expensive general ticket will cost £565.

Professor Denise Barrett-Baxendale, Everton’s CEO, said:“The past several seasons have seen us break records in terms of season ticket sales.

“It is right for the club to continue to recognise the enduring support of Evertonians and it has been a key focus, driven by our chairman over many years, that we place affordability and value for money at the top of our agenda.

“We have the best, most committed fans. They build their lives around their team and our continued approach to affordable pricing is one important way we can acknowledge and respect their support.”

For the first time, fans who paid by any form of Direct Debit in 2018/19 will be automatically renewed for next season, following the introduction of the ‘rolling’ scheme for this season.

In both 2017/18 and 2018/19, Everton hit it its cap on Season Tickets – and a waiting list will once again be in effect for supporters keen to have the chance of purchasing a season ticket for next season.

Gary Evans, chair of the Everton Fans’ Forum, said: “The club has shown a long and lasting commitment to affordable pricing.

“As a Forum, we are proud to have played a part in that ongoing process – and equally proud to know it has resulted in more Evertonians than at any point in the club’s history being Season Ticket Members.”

In addition to the auto-renewal option which applies to fans on this year’s Direct Debit scheme, a wide range of payment options are available for 2019/20.

The increasingly popular Direct Debit scheme means Evertonians will once again have the option to spread the cost of their Season Ticket via 12, 11, 10 or nine-month payment plans.

Three-staged and two-staged payment options will also be available, alongside the choice to pay up front in full.

All supporters who choose any of the Direct Debit options for 2019/20 will be moved to a 12-month auto-renewal for subsequent seasons, ensuring their seat is retained with no need for renewal.

Auto-renewal is the easiest way for fans to maintain a sought-after place at Goodison and gives fans the chance to spread payments equally across the year.

Existing season ticket members currently paying by Direct Debit will be contacted later this month with information about their auto-renewal for 2019/20.

All other season ticket members will receive an information pack in January outlining their payment options and the range of additional benefits available for 2019/20.
