A man has been charged with the 2016 murder of Blake Brown.
Lee Blowes was arrested in Queens Drive on Wednesday after reports of a road collision between two cars and a van near the Townsend Lane junction.
Detectives detained both the 31-year-old from Skelmersdale and a 37-year-old woman from Fazakerly in connection with Mr Brown’s killing two years ago.
Blowes has been charged with conspiracy to murder and is due to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on Thursday afternoon.
Mr Brown suffered multiple gunshot wounds to his head, thigh and buttock in the shooting in Southwood Road, Aigburth on October 24, 2016.
