Schneiderlin offered Everton exit next month

Morgan Schneiderlin has been offered a potential Everton escape next month.

The France international has found largely himself out of contention over the last two months during the tenures of both David Unsworth and Sam Allardyce.

Schneiderlin has started the Blues’ last two games, he remains some way off being in favour amid claims he was sent home from training under Unsworth.

But the 28-year-old’s difficult time at Goodison Park could soon be at an end amid reported interest from West Ham ahead of the January transfer window.

According to the Mirror, ex-Everton boss David Moyes identified Schneiderlin as a key signing and has sounded out his former club about the player’s availability.

Allardyce’s interest in a reunion with Sevilla enforcer Steven N’Zonzi is said to have increased the possibility of him allowing Schneiderlin to leave for London.

Since securing a £20 million move from Manchester United in January, the midfielder has made 37 appearances for Everton and scored just once.
