Fenerbahce are preparing to bring an end to Oumar Niasse’s Everton career.
Niasse joined the Blues in January 2016 from Lokamotiv Moscow but failed to repay the club’s £13.5 million outlay.
He spent the second half of last season on loan at Hull City, where he scored five times but failed to secure a permanent stay.
But the Senegal international’s Goodison Park nightmare could finally be at an end according to reports in Turkey.
Fotospor claim that Fenerbahce have already agreed personal terms with Niasse to seal his transfer later this week.
Crucially, however, the Istanbul-based club has yet to strike a transfer fee with Everton for the unwanted striker.
Niasse previously emerged as a target for Fenerbahce’s cross-city rivals Galatasaray last year, with the player said to have made a come-and-get-me plea.
Premier League newcomers Brighton and Hove Albion have expressed an interest in signing the 27-year-old.
Ronald Koeman exiled Niasse last summer and warned that he needed to pursue a career away from Everton.
