Everton are reportedly planning to sign Fiorentina striker Nikola Kalinic.
Ronald Koeman is said to have turned to Kalinic as his latest attacking target following the Blues’ failure to land either Olivier Giroud or Christian Benteke.
The Croatia international recorded a credible 20 goals and four assists for Fiorentina last season as they finished two points behind Inter Milan.
But La Viola may now be set to cash in on Kalinic with Sky Italia claiming that Everton are willing to pay up to €25m (£22.7m) for the marksman’s services.
AC Milan previously targeted the 27-year-old this summer but a move to Goodison Park now appears possible as Koeman rebuilds his forward line.
Everton addressed Romelu Lukaku’s departure to Manchester United by drafting in ex-player Wayne Rooney and an in-demand Sandro Ramirez from Malaga.
