Everton are on the verge of a deal for Vitesse Arnhem goalkeeper Eloy Room.
Ronald Koeman will make Room his side’s seventh senior signing of the summer as a direct replacement for the Blues’ outgoing stopper Joel Robles.
The Curacao international has three years remaining on his current deal with Arnhem but reports in Holland claim that a move to Goodison Park is imminent.
Room made 33 appearances for the Eredivisie outfit last season as they went on to lift a first piece of major silveware in their history with the KNVB Cup.
According to Dutch website Soccer News, the 28-year-old will link up with international team mate Cuco Martina on Merseyside for just £1.35 million.
Robles is set to secure a return to his native Spain with Deportivo La Coruna after falling down the pecking order to new club-record arrival Jordan Pickford.
The former Atletico Madrid and Wigan goalkeeper replaced Maarten Stekelenburg at the midway stage of the previous campaign after he succumbed to injury.
