Everton have unveiled their new away kit for the 2017/18 season.
Evoking memories of the Blues’ change strip first worn during the early to mid 1980s, the grey Umbro strip lends itself heavily to that trophy-laden period.
It will be the first time that Everton have sported the colour since the 2005/06 campaign – one of four previous times after that inaugural 1983-85 spell.
The iconic Prince Rupert’s Tower is heavily featured in the new design alongside a pattern which takes inspiration from Goodison Park’s memorial gates.
As with the home kit, a silhouette motif of Dixie Dean also features on the nape of the shirt and has already found favour with Everton captain Phil Jagielka.

He said: “There’s always excitement among the fans to see the new kit and, with the squad continuing to be strengthened this summer ahead of a big season in front of us, I’m sure the away kit will go down really well with our supporters.
“Everton’s away fans are the best in the Premier League, the commitment and support is incredible and, as players, we’ll look forward to wearing the away shirt with pride in the coming season.
“It’s shaping up already to be really exciting, with us being back in Europe as well.”
