Jurgen Klopp admits that he is a big fan of Ajax striker Kasper Dolberg.
The Denmark international previously attracted the interest of the Reds’ local rivals Everton and has scored 13 times for the Eredivisie giants this season.
Dolberg has been likened to Zlatan Ibrahimovic and was discovered by the same scout that uncovered Manchester United’s leading scorer earlier in his career.
And Liverpool manager Klopp has now revealed his admiration for the 19-year-old.
“Who doesn’t know Dolberg?”, he told Ekstra Bladet.
“You can’t play at Ajax without being noticed.
“He has a great future ahead. He is a fantastic player.
“I love Danish footballers. I had Leon Andreasen at Mainz. He was a monster.
“I also have warm memories of Bo Svensson and Mohamed Zidan, who has a Danish wife.
“Danes have a good attitude and a strong mentality.”
