Everton striker Romelu Lukaku is set to be the subject of an audacious move from AC Milan.
Lukaku is on the verge of signing a new long-term contract with the Blues but still expected to attract interest from a host of club’s in the next transfer window.
And Milan are reportedly planning to lead the hunt for the Belgium international as part of a two-pronged assault on the Premier League this summer.
The Serie A giants have previously dealt with Everton officials this season as part of a deal which saw Gerard Deulofeu secure a loan switch last month.
But San Siro chiefs are now said to be turning their attention to Lukaku, with the Daily Express claiming that a £75 million price tag would not deter their efforts.
Milan are currently the subject of a takeover from Chinese backers Sino-Europe, who will afford Vincenzo Montella a £140 million war chest in the market.
Arsenal winger Alexis Sanchez is also thought to be on the Rossoneri’s hit list.
