Ronald Koeman has taken aim at Arsene Wenger following Everton’s late win over Arsenal.
The Blues snatched a 2-1 victory courtesy of Ashley Williams but the Gunners boss took issue with the decision to award the corner which led to the 86th-minute header.
Wenger alleged that referee Mark Clattenburg’s judgement was the latest in an ongoing case of contentious rulings he has given against Arsenal this season.
Koeman, however, hit back at the Frenchman in his post-match assessment.
He said: “I am not surprised about Wenger and his comments.
“It is the third time in a row I won at home against Arsenal and three times in a row it was about the referee.”
The Everton manager followed up his remarks by adding: “Sorry Arsenal. We won through the ref.”
