Ronald Koeman has laughed off the fallout behind his choice of Christmas tree decorations after some Everton fans joked that they too red.
Koeman shared a picture of his family tree on social media earlier this week, which saw some Blues fans light-heartedly take issue with the colour scheme.

The Everton manager later posted a picture of the same tree with more white decorations in response to his Twitter followers.
But speaking ahead of Sunday’s visit of Manchester United, Koeman dismissed the perceived storm over his choice of festive decorations.
He said: “It was a big mistake from my wife – put her under pressure!
“I understand on one side the fanatic blue people. I’m the Everton manager and of course I’m Blue.

“I will do everything to be successful in this great club.
“But I like a glass of red wine and I don’t need to shout that I’m a Blue if I drink one.
“It’s funny. I don’t take it too seriously.”
