Alisson Becker will lead Liverpool’s tributes to the late Ray Clemence.
Sunday’s visit of Leicester City marks the Reds’ first competitive game since the passing of their revered former goalkeeper last weekend at the age of 72.
Clemence’s image has been selected to adorn the match programme for the clash between the current Premier League leaders and defending champions.
A minute’s applause will be held before the game in the legendary stopper, who made 665 appearances in 13 years before leaving to join Tottenham.
Additionally, Alisson is set to warm up for the game in a replica of the shirt the former England international wore in his last-ever game for Liverpool.
The green jersey is an exact replica of Clemence’s shirt from the 1981 European Cup final, when Bob Paisley’s side edged out Real Madrid in Paris.
Liverpool museum curator Stephen Done has donated the shirt from his personal collection for the Brazilian to wear ahead of the Foxes’ encounter.
It will be signed by the players after the game and auctioned by the LFC Foundation with all funds being donated to Prostate Cancer UK.
