Liverpool’s Premier League title defence will begin at home to Leeds United.
The Yorkshire club secured a return to the English top flight since 2004 in the same season that Jurgen Klopp’s side clinched their first title in 30 years.
Marcelo Bielsa is set to lead his charges to Anfield on September 12 in a clash already billed as the pick of the Premier League’s opening weekend fixtures.
Following Leeds’ visit, Liverpool will visit Chelsea on the following weekend before welcoming Arsenal to Merseyside in a difficult early run of games.
The first Merseyside derby of the season follows on October 17 at Goodison Park with Everton making the short trip to Anfield on February 20, 2021.
A meeting with title rivals Manchester City is scheduled for November 7 at the Etihad Stadium with the corresponding fixture happening on February 6.
Liverpool’s festive schedule includes a Boxing Day visit of West Brom before trips against Newcastle on December 28 and Southampton on January 2.
The 2020/21 season will be drawn to a close on home soil with Crystal Palace visiting Anfield on the final day of May 23, 2021.
