Bill Kenwright insists that Everton’s big-money misfits will remain at the club.
Several of the Blues’ signings in an unprecedented £140 million spending spree have found themselves marginalised after failing to impress.
Sandro Ramirez, Davy Klaassen and Nikola Vlasic were prominent arrivals at Goodison Park but have been unable to command regular first-team places.
The striker made a swift return to Spain in a loan spell with Sevilla while both Klaassen and Vlasic have struggled for minutes under Sam Allardyce.
But Everton chairman Kenwright remains adamant that the club will not be cutting their losses on the trio, who cost a combined £37m.
He said: “I am part of the team that brings them in and gives them the Everton talk.
“And all of those players, every single one of them who signed for us last summer, were determined, determined to wear that blue jersey with pride and become, hopefully, legendary Evertonians.
“Some of them have had spectacular success, like England’s No1 goalkeeper, Michael Keane is doing well and others have found the transition tough.
“But people like Davy Klaassen, Sandro, Nikola Vlasic they’ve come here to give their all, they’re still good players and they’ll still be Everton players next season.”
