Police are investigating after a teenager was assaulted in Liverpool One last night.
Reports of a group of males fighting close to the Nando’s restaurant in the shopping and leisure complex emerged at around 8.25pm on Saturday.
A 17-year-old male was found to have suffered puncture wounds, including a serious wound to his left leg, and was taken to hospital.
Forensic, CCTV and witness enquiries took place while additional officers patrolled the area through the night to provide high visibility reassurance.
