A house in Mossley Hill has closed due to its links with anti-social behaviour in the area.
Liverpool and Knowsley Magistrates Court granted the order against 30 Bridge Road yesterday which also saw its tenant evicted.
It means that no one will be allowed into the south Liverpool property for a period of three months
Merseyside Police’s Neighbourhood Sergeant, Steve McLoughlin, said: “The order was applied for in response to information from the community.
“This type of information is vital and we would encourage anyone with similar information to contact us, and be assured that you can remain anonymous if you choose to.
“Closure Orders are put in place to allow residents to enjoy the quality of life that they are entitled to, and we will continue to target offenders and any associated properties who continue to cause problems for the community.
“We will do this using all lawful powers available to us in order to make the area a safer and more peaceful place to live.”
Any members of the community who have any information about antisocial behaviour in their area can contact Merseyside Police, via our 101 number or through Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
