Boy, 15, in hospital after Albert Dock stabbing

A teenage boy has been hospitalised after a stabbing at the Albert Dock.

Police were called to the Liverpool waterfront area at 7.55pm on Tuesday (April 7) following reports that the 15-year-old had been assaulted near the closed Tate.

He was taken to hospital for treatment on a stab wound to the arm but his injury is not believed to be life threatening.

An investigation is underway, and witness and CCTV enquiries are being carried out in the local area.

Chief Inspector Chris Bland said: “Enquiries are in the early stages as we seek to establish what has taken place.

“We would ask anyone who was at the Albert Dock this evening who heard or saw anything or has any information to contact us.”
