A teenage boy has been charged after a daylight shooting in Litherland.
Police were called to Fulwood Way at around 4pm on Monday (March 30) to reports that a group of males had shot at a man riding a Sur-ron bike at the time.
No injuries were reported and enquiries are ongoing to locate the rider of the bike.
Detectives previously charged four men with firearm and driving offences last month but have now added a 17-year-old from Bootle to their live investigation.
He faces two counts of possession of a firearm, conspiracy to possess a firearm with intent to endanger life, conspiracy to possess ammunition with intent to endanger life and conspiracy to cause grievous bodily harm with intent.
The boy has been remanded in custody ahead of a hearing at Merseyside Youth Remand Court on Thursday (April 2).
