An elderly woman has been hit by a bus in Liverpool city centre.
Emergency services were called to the junction of Dale Street and North John Street at around 4.10pm on Friday (December 19) after the collision with the pedestrian.
Dale Street was reopened less than an hour following the incident involving a Stagecoach bus but a cordon remains in place on North John Street itself.
Merseyside Police have confirmed a woman in her 80s was taken to hospital.
