A teenage boy is in hospital after an attack in a Liverpool park.
Emergency services were called to Newsham Park at around 3.45pm on Friday following reports that the 15-year-old had been assaulted in the local area.
He was taken to hospital for treatment to a head injury and is in a stable condition.
Two boys aged 16 were arrested nearby and have been taken into police custody.
