Six people have been arrested after a man was spotted with a handgun on a Liverpool street.
Police were called to Brownlow Hill at its junction with Great Newton Street around 2.55pm on Monday, close to John Moore University’s School of Art and Design..
Five men and one woman were arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm and remain in custody ahead of questioning in connection with the incident.
