Two men have been charged after a stabbing during a brawl in Aigburth.
Police were called to Groom Barber Shop on Aigburth Road at around 3.40pm on Tuesday (May 2) following reports of a fight between a group of men.
A man was discovered at the scene with several knife wounds to his legs and back. He was taken to hospital for teatment but has since been released.
Detectives confirmed on Friday that two men were charged in connection with the incident and are set to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on Friday, June 2.
Michael Ford, 25, from Toxteth has been charged with section 18 wounding with intent, possession of criminal property and carrying a knife in a public place.
Harry Kinsella, aged 21, of Huyton has been charged with carrying a knife in a public place. Both men have been remanded into custody until their hearings.
