A teenager has appeared at Liverpool Magistrates Court charged in connectionwith a sexual assault in Walton earlier this month.
The attack took place on Thursday, cure May 19th at 9.30am, in a park close to Evered Avenue, Walton. The female victim reported the attack to Merseyside Police, who launched an appeal for information.
Detectives from Liverpool CID confirmed the arrest and that a man had been charged, in an official statement.
“Kieran Ellis, 19, of Harper Road, Walton has been charged with Section 62 of the Sexual Offences Act and indecent exposure.”
“He appeared at Liverpool Magistrates Court on Friday, and his full hearing will be at Liverpool Crown Court on June 17th”, added the statement.
Police also reiterated that they appealing to anyone who may have been in the Rice Lane/ Evered Avenue area and saw anything to contact the Unity Team on 0151 777 1380.
