Police appeal for witnesses after man found unconscious in Sefton

Merseyside Police are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist was found unconscious in Sefton.

The 56-year-old male cyclist was discovered on Lunt Road- close to the junction with Long Lane- by a member of the public at around 11:25am on Sunday morning and is currently described as critical but stable.

Medical professionals believe that the cyclist, stuff who was riding was riding a blue Raleigh road bike and wearing a yellow high visibility top, grey shorts and a black cycling helmet had a medical episode, but officers are still appealing for witnesses who may have seen the incident to come forward with information.
