First Liverpool coronavirus death confirmed

It has been announced that 87 people have died in the UK of Coronavirus in the last 24 hours.

Today’s rise is the biggest seen so far within the UK and it was been confirmed that one of the deaths was in Liverpool.

It is believed that the death mentioned in the government report is that of Liverpool music legend Cy Tucker who once performed with The Beatles.

The Grandad, 76 “touched many lives through music” died in early hours of Tuesday morning at The Royal Liverpool University Teaching Hospital.

The news comes after Prime Minister Boris Johnson implemented measures that will limit the amount of time people can spend outside of their home for at least the next three weeks.
