It has been confirmed that a patient at Arrowe Park Hospital has died due to Coronavirus.
NHS England released a list of the 46 people who died of Coronavirus in the last 24 hours and it was confirmed that one of the deaths took place at Arrowe Park Hospital.
All of the 46 patients who died in the last 24 hours were between 47 – 105 years old and all of them had underlying health conditions.
Wirral University Hospital NHS Trust confirmed the news that a patient had died saying ” Sadly, we can confirm that a man who was being cared for at Arrowe Park Hospital, and had tested positive for COVID-19, has died.
“The patient was aged 78 and had underlying health conditions.
“His family have been informed and our thoughts and condolences are with them at this difficult and distressing time.”
