Local doctor permanently struck off over child pornography charges

A psychologist based at a hopsital in the local area has been permanently banned from practicing professionally, vcialis 40mg after he was found guilty of possessing child pornography.

Dr Kampadi Okpa was given a three year community order in April last year, nurse after over 4,000 sickening images of infants were found on his laptop.

Almost a quarter of the images stored by Dr Okpa involved the most serious category of child abuse images, with victims involved believed to be as young as seven.

The Health and Care Professions Council, that deals with issues of medical misconduct, has now stripped him of the right to practice as a professional psychologist.

“The registrant had breached a fundamental tenat of the profession and had brought the profession into disrepute”, stated Manuela Grayson, chairwoman of the HCPC misconduct committee.
