A third arrest has been made in connection with the murder of Mark Hillman.
An man from Anfiel was arrested yesterday on suspicion of being involved in the murder Mark .
The 35-year-old was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder and assisting an offender.
26 year old Mark Hillman died in hospital after he was shot in Lloyd Close, click Everton last Wednesday.
A police spokesman said: “Detectives investigating the murder of Mark Hillman in Everton on 27 April 2016 have today arrested a man on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder and assisting an offender.
“The 35-year-old man from Anfield has been taken into custody where he will be questioned by detectives.”
Detectives have previously arrested a 21-year-old woman at a house in Anfield on suspicion of assisting an offender and money laundering. Another arrest of a 39 year old woman from Everyton was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder.
Both were released on bail, pending further enquiries.
