Locations on Merseyside under the “Clean for the Queen” scheme has been announced today.
“Clean for the Queen” aims to spruce up Britain in time for Her Majesty’s 90th Birthday in June.
Food packaging, plastic bottles, takeaway wrapping and cigarette ends are the main offenders and the key targets of the big clean-up.
A mass litter pick weekend has already taken place over March 4-6.
