A man has been arrested following an incident at a property in Bootle last night.
Police were called to a house on Peel Road just after 8.30pm in the evening after reports of a disturbance.
Officers found a 23-year-old man on the roof of the property and promptly cordoned off the surrounding area.
Following negotiations between police and the man, thumb a three-hour stand-off ensued before officers confirmed that the man came down from the roof at around 11.25pm.
A 23-year-old man has been arrested for affray and on suspicion of criminal damage and indecent exposure. The man has been taken to a police station in Merseyside where he will be questioned by local police.
