Two thieves smashed into the front of a Wirral sports shop before making off with a selection of North Face clothing.
The incident took place at JD Sports in Birkenhead in the early hours of Monday.
Police believe that the two offenders used a car to damage the entrance to the Grange Road store shortly before 3.50am, which triggered the store’s alarm.
They then entered and made a search before leaving with a quantity of men’s North Face clothing, including coats, hooded jumpers, long sleeve T-shirts, padded jackets and gilets.
Detectives investigating the theft are currently looking for a light green/silver coloured Ford Focus which was seen in the area at the time of the burglary.
