Liverpool’s annual Santa Dash has reclaimed its title as the world’s biggest festive fun run.
Las Vegas previously held the accolade but only registered shy of 9,000 entrants compared to the numbers that took to the city centre’s streets yesterday.
Starting at the Pier Head, thousands of friends, families and pets donned red, blue and even purple Santa suits to partake in the 13th year of the 5k event.
A number of local sporting and media personalities, including boxing dynasty the Smith brothers and Liverpool FC icon Alan Kennedy also took part.
