Nazi stickers reappear around South Liverpool

Stickers boasting of a ‘Nazi Controlled Zone’ have reappeared in areas of South Liverpool.

The offensive labels were originally posted on lampposts and buildings across Aigburth and Childwall earlier this month as the region marked Remembrance weekend.

Local councillor Patrick Hurley was photographed pulling down the pro-fascism stickers in his Mossley Hill constituency but they have since reappeared elsewhere.

Merseyside Police have confirmed that they now removed ones which were posted on Elmswood Road in Aigburth on Thursday.

The force has condemned the displaying of the stickers as ‘unacceptable’.
