Albert’s Schenke in Liverpool will be entering a new chapter this spring.
The Hanover Street venue has traded under its current name since opening in 2020 but is set to close its doors on Saturday, February 28 to undergo a transformation.
Reopening as Schiller’s Hall on Wednesday, March 11, the venue is a relaxed neighbourhood bar serving continental food, blending Alpine warmth and European soul.
Inspired by historic Bavarian beer halls, Bohemian cafes, and vibrant continental cities, the bar will serve comfort dishes, small plates, classic cocktails, and a comprehensive selection of European beers.
Schiller’s Hall will be the latest opening from award-winning hospitality group Mission Mars, the team behind Albert’s Schloss, Albert Hall and Rudy’s Neapolitan Pizzeria.
Spanning a spacious 5,000 sqft with over 170 covers, the updated venue blends European grandeur with warm, welcoming spirit.
Interiors draw on the faded elegance of historic European cafés and Bohemian halls creating a neighbourhood hall for relaxed all-day drinking and dining.
The refreshed menu introduces weekend breakfasts and Sunday roasts, alongside an all-day selection of small plates, hearty mains and lunchtime sandwiches.
Highlights include Steak Frites, Schiller’s Hot Honey Twice-Fried Chicken Burger, Rigatoni Salsa Rosa and Prawn Crumpet with Spring Onion and Sweet Chilli.
A new drinks list will feature standout beers, wines and brand new cocktails, including the Salon Rogue Raspberry Mojito, Bohemian Electric Amaretto Bourbon Sour, and Strawberry Limoncello Spritz, alongside a full line-up of classics.
To mark the reopening, guests will have the chance to win one of twenty £100 bar tabs, with sign ups available online here.
Schiller’s Hall will open on March 11, 2026 at 16 Hanover Street and will be open Monday-Sunday.
