San Carlo is kicking off 2026 with a fresh focus on lighter dining and alcohol-free drinks.
The Italian restaurant in Liverpool city centre has introduced a range of of balanced yet indulgent dishes alongside a vibrant mocktail menu available on site.
Among the healthier menu highlights is the Tonno e Lenticchie, featuring charcoal-grilled yellowfin tuna served with tomato lentils for a balanced main.
Seafood options also include Lemon Sole with clams and green asparagus, alongside Coda di Rospo “Aurora”, a monkfish dish in a light garlic, white wine and cherry tomato sauce.
Lighter starters range from the Heritage Tomato Salad with goats’ cheese, olives and basil to Salmone Affumicato, served with capers, lemon and Altamura bread.
For those seeking protein-led dishes, the Chicken Caesar Salad and Pollo Marinato with caper and lemon sauce offer classic flavours with a lighter feel.
Complementing the food, San Carlo’s mocktail menu is available across all bar menus and has been created with Dry January in mind.
Standout options include Etere with Everleaf Forest, pineapple and passion fruit; Terra, blending Everleaf Mountain with seasonal fruits and citrus; and Acqua, a refreshing mix of Everleaf Mountain and Forest with watermelon and lime – all delivering the feel of a cocktail, without the alcohol.
For those looking for lunch, the Lunch Menu is designed to bring a touch of Italian indulgence to your midday, enjoy two or three courses of a carefully curated selection of antipasti, main dishes, and dolci.
