New ownership reopens Duke St Boutique Hotel

Duke Street Boutique Hotel is back open after a change in ownership.

Golding Group took over the purpose-bult venue in Liverpool city centre after it had been on the market for nine months with a £2.25 million guide price in January.

The 30-room hotel is the latest addition to the company’s portfolio of hotels and serviced accommodation offered after building its reputation as an estate agent.

Originally opened in 2021, Duke Street Boutique Hotel is a chic, modern and situated within a short distance from a host of the city’s popular locations.

It is within minutes of Chinatown and close to Liverpool One, the M&S Bank Arena, and Lime Street as well as many bars, restaurants and tourist attractions.

Golding Group has refreshed the hotel which it says was already finished to a premium standard, including air conditioning unlike other similar venues.

They have undertaken a full cosmetic refurbishment at the property including a redesigned reception area with a chic resident’s bar.

Unlike the previous hotel, which was self-service check-in, it will be fully staffed giving a round-the-clock friendly service and offer a Breakfast-To-Go with freshly made croissants, juice, and tea or coffee.

Prices will start at around £50-60 during the week.

Kerry Audley, Group General Manager for Golding’s hotel operations, said: “We are delighted that we have been able to get the Duke Street Boutique Hotel re-opened and running again so soon after its purchase, and extremely excited by what we have to offer.

“We are really looking forward to welcoming visitors to a high-end, quality boutique hotel experience, with superb support and service at budget hotel prices.”

The Duke Street Boutique Hotel is located at 181-185 Duke Street in the Liverpool Ropewalks quarter of the city centre.
