Liverpool FC has a strong history with talented players, with football fans finding young talents in the simulation video game and nurturing them. That said, turning fantasy into reality has become more difficult with EA FC 27, as the market is overhauled and the competition is tight.
With eSports bets, it’s important to know who you are placing your bids on. On one side, you have the players who represent the club today. On the other, you have the legends that helped create their reputation. It’s important to understand the different skill sets and levels of these players when you’re planning a Liverpool team.
Highest-Rated Players Currently in Liverpool EA FC 27
The top-ranking Liverpool players offer high defensive strength, creative attacking talent, and reliable goalkeeping. This creates a strong foundation in EA FC 27, with each player bringing a specific advantage on the field.
1. Virgil van Dijk
Virgil van Dijk has established a reputation as the defensive leader for Liverpool. His strength, combined with his aerial ability and his positional awareness, helps defend against dangerous attackers and protect the penalty area. Within ES FC 27, he is a good choice for players who want a center-back who can take on physical attacks and organize a good defense.
2. Alisson Becker
Alisson Becker may be on the current roster, but he already made history as the first goalkeeper to score a competitive goal for the team. For EA FC 27, he brings superior shot-stopping abilities, great reflexes, and a high command over the penalty area. This makes him an asset against teams that score frequently. Plus, he has a distribution that doesn’t require players to rely on long clearances, but helps launch attacks from the back.
3. Alexander Isak
Players planning a Liverpool attack could rely on Alexander Isak for movement, pace, and finishing ability. He honed his technical skills so he can control the ball under pressure, but his movement is also smooth enough to find space between defenders. Players shooting for well-timed runs and quick attacks can use Isak as the main icon to score goals.
4. Dominik Szoboszlai
Dominik Szoboszlai is considered a catch in EA Sports FC 27 because he received a +3 OVR upgrade. He combines a great ability to control possession with accurate passes and supporting moves, making him a versatile asset to Liverpool’s midfield. His 4-star skill moves and weak foot also make him smooth when running the ball, all while making him reliable with both feet in the midfield.
5. Florian Wirtz
As an 86-rated center attacking midfielder (CAM), Florian Wirtz is valued for his high growth potential. Players can take advantage of his versatile playmaker stats, with his strong dribbling and attack positioning going above standard values. Plus, since he played in the Premier League, it’s easy to link him into multiple meta-hybrid squads within an Ultimate Team.
Liverpool FC Players Who Became Legends
Many Liverpool FC players hold a place of honor in the EA Sports FC franchise. However, since they are retired, they no longer appear in the standard modes of the Liverpool squad. Instead, fans can see them as Ultimate Team Icons, linked to Liverpool FC’s history. Icons can be found, bought, or packed on the transfer market, with the following legends being most popular for full chemistry.
Kenny Dalglish
Kenny Dalglish became a Liverpool legend in the late ‘70s and ‘80s, after winning six league titles and three European Cups. Steven Gerrard
Steven Gerrard is an ideal choice for those setting up a classic Liverpool midfield within EA Sports FC. The former captain is known for his accurate passing and powerful shooting, along with his defensive work and leadership. He has an all-round playing style that helps players win possession, carry the ball, and even contribute to goals.
