Despite the pandemic, motorbike sales have remained strong so there is reason to be optimistic for the industry heading into 2021, especially with the following bikes ready to hit the roads.
Yamaha MT-07
The MT-07 has been hugely popular since its release in 2014 and caused many other brands to up their game, which led the Japanese manufacturer to keep working on the MT-07 to lead the pack. This year’s model has been given an impressive update with a cool new styling and a Euro5 spec engine.
Kawasaki KLR650
Kawasaki announced that there would be 6 new models unleashed in late 2020, but when the day rolled around there was one very notable omission which was the KLR650 descendant. Fortunately, Team Green revealed that there would now be 2 new bikes unveiled in 2021 and one of these is sure to be the highly anticipated KLR650.
Aprilia RS 660
Aprilia announced the introduction of new RS 660 back in 2019 but will not be released until 2021 although it could certainly be worth the wait. Sports bike sales have plummeted in the last decade, but the RS 660 could revitalise the market with its superb speed and handling to go along with the impressive tech. When a bike has a lot of tech like this, you will want to protect your investment and make sure that you have a good motorbike insurance policy in place.
Honda CB1100X
The first of two highly anticipated releases from Honda, the CB1100X is being kept under wraps right now and may not make it out till 2022, but there is a lot to be excited about and it is thought that this road-orientated model will have a distinctive new style compared to the other X models.
Honda Rebel 500
The Rebel 500 will hit the roads before the CB1100X and will certainly stand out with its cool blacked-out look which will turn heads wherever you go. As you would expect, you are also getting a high-quality machine from Honda which packs a punch and will be great fun to ride.
