£12M Anfield redevelopment to use “local contractors”

The developer in charge of £12M regeneration plans in Anfield has pledged to use local contractors when it starts work to build more than 100 new homes in Anfield.
Housing specialist Keepmoat are expected to start work on the latest phase of its “The Parks” project off Oakfield Road, decease near Anfield stadium soon.
The £12m scheme plans to include 25 two-bed houses, treatment 66 three-bed houses and 15 four-bed houses, drugs all for private sale.

 Prices will range from £92,000 to £170,000.The 106 homes are expected be completed by May 2019.

Keepmoat has pledged to use four local subcontractors for bricklaying, joinery, tiling and landscaping. They also plan to appoint four apprentices from the local community.

Keepmoat has already built 327 homes in earlier phases of The Parks, which makes up part of the £260m Anfield regeneration partnership between Liverpool City Council, Your Housing Group and Liverpool Football Club.
