Liverpool Women sign Golden Glove winner

Liverpool Women have completed the signing of goalkeeper Khiara Keating.

Keating will reunite with her former Manchester City head coach Gareth Taylor after the 22-year-old’s contract with the newly-crowned WSL champions expired.

The 22-year-old stopper made 65 appearances during five seasons in the first team at the Joie Stadium, winning the title as well as the Women’s League Cup.

She also won the WSL’s Golden Glove in 2023/24 with nine clean sheets while also being handed a senior England debut by Sarina Wiegman in October 2025.

Keating, who will wear the No.12 shirt, becomes the Reds’ fourth signing of the summer after the arrivals of Mari Ward, Sara Agrez and Vivien Endemann.

She said: “I think everyone knows Liverpool worldwide. It’s such a big club and I think the women’s team is striving for greatness.

“I think the style of football that they play, they actually try to play – which suits me and my position.

“I think they’re just going in the right direction and [it is] a project that I want to be part of.

“The start of my career has been nothing but amazing. I’ve gained platforms and done brilliantly so far. But I needed that missing [piece of the] puzzle.

““And I think Liverpool can be that – where I’m playing week in, week out and I’m getting good game time, playing with a good team and winning trophies.”
