Everton are reportedly set to go head-to-head with Chelsea in their pursuit of Graziano Pelle.
Pelle worked with Ronald Koeman during the new Blues boss’ time in charge at both Feyenoord and Southampton and the Dutchman is said to be keen on a fresh reunion.
But the Daily Mail claim that the 30-year-old has also attracted the attention of the newly appointed Chelsea manager Antonio Conte, who saw him at close quarters during Italy’s Euro 2016 campaign.
The striker scored twice in four appearances for his country in France but was one of four players that missed a penalty during the shoot-out that culminated in a quarter-final defeat to Germany.
Pelle scored 14 goals and provided seven assists in 36 appearances for Southampton in all competitions this season.
